Reservations The WEC makes all reservations via telephone to ensure every group gets the field lab that best suits its needs. Wes Kruger is in charge of scheduling and is very helpful in planning field labs. Call him at (409) 267-3547 to make your reservations today! Field labs are scheduled on a first-come-first-serve basis. Call early to receive your preferred field lab date. A $75 deposit or purchase order for the full price is required for all field labs. This deposit will be subtracted from the cost of your field lab upon invoice. Cost Charter fees start at $800 per vessel. Discounts are available to large volume users. Groups planning to participate in eight or more field labs a year, may negotiated a lower rate prior to the completion of the first field lab. This rate will apply to a set number of field labs. Interested parties should contact Amy Hill for more details and procedure requirements. Scholarships The WEC is aware that this is still a preventative cost for many potential users. For this reason, a scholarship is offered to nonprofit student and educational groups, such as public and private schools, colleges and universities, and Scout groups. (This scholarship is not available to for-profit entities.) Full scholarships are not available. The WEC does its best to stretch funding to serve as many groups as possible. Please consider this when determining your scholarship request. The more each group can afford to pay, the more groups the WEC can serve. |
