Wes Kruger

Field Lab Coordinator

On September 1, 2008 the WEC welcomed new Field Lab Coordinator, Wes Kruger, to the staff. Wes will take over field lab scheduling and equipment management, among other miscellaneous duties.

He graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1998 with a B.S. in Kinesiology and a minor in history.  After teaching and coaching for almost a decade, he felt it was time to work closer to home and enjoy the outdoors while still being able to educate.

Wes was born and raised in Anahuac. He and his daughter still reside in town and most of Wes’ free time is spent keeping up with her. Any other free time is spent outside doing various activities like running, golf, softball, hunting, or going to the beach.
